How To Get A Celebrity Body

Your health is one of the only things that you have full control over and you should always make every effort to stay in top shape. Fit is the new rich as they say. Being fit will give your more energy, make your more positive, boost your confidence and gain you respect from people around you. In this article I will be teaching you the fundamentals of staying fit and healthy through exercise and nutrition. This is our no nonsense guide to getting the celebrity body you want.
Most celebrities have personal trainers to help them stay fit 24/7 but you don’t need to spend millions of dollars on a trainer to learn the fundamentals of exercise and nutrition. The more you teach yourself the more likely you are to stick to your exercise program. Learn to educate yourself on the basics of exercise and nutrition and you are less likely to be tricked into wasting your money on so called miracle diet supplements and strange exercise gadgets. Celebrities work damn hard to stay in shape and so should you. There is no quick fix way to get in shape and if you go looking for one you are sure to be disappointed.
The first point to note is that exercise should always be fun and enjoyable. Once you get into the habit of regular exercise then it becomes something that you will really begin to look forward to. Another point to remember is that if you want to get in shape you must join a gym. I don’t know of many people who have had any real success just exercising at home unless they have million dollar budgets.
Here are my top tips for staying celebrity fit and leading a longer, healthier and happier life.
Lift weights
Sadly weight lifting is something that many people, women especially, avoid when they first start getting in shape. Weight training will completely transform the shape of your body, give you muscular definition and help you burn off as much, if not more, fat than cardio. Cardio is a great way to lose weight quickly but, on its own, will just leave you looking flat and skinny. If you really want to change your body you need to start lifting weights. I always find weight lifting to be way more enjoyable than cardio and it has much more profound effects on changing your body shape. Women should not worry about getting bulky from weight training. In reality it is very hard, almost impossibly actually, for a woman to end up looking bulky from weight training because they have very little testosterone. Not only does weight training help you burn fat and drastically speed up your metabolism, it also shapes and defines your body making it much more aesthetic. Ideally you should combine three weight sessions with three cardio sessions if weight loss is your goal.
Synergy
When most people start exercising they generally stick to either just cardiovascular training or just weight training and this is not a good idea. The best way to lose weight is through a combination of weight training and cardiovascular exercise. If you only intend on performing cardio then you are seriously short changing yourself in terms of weight loss results.
Eat only complex carbohydrates
Carbohydrates certainly don’t deserve the bad reputation they have gained over the last couple of years and any diet that suggests you eliminate carbohydrate from your diet will always result in failure. The main thing that people get really wrong is to assume that all carbohydrates are the same but this couldn’t be father from the truth. Carbohydrate is absolutely essential for your body to function properly and if you try and cut down any important nutrient then your body will fight back and you will be sorry for doing so. You cannot trick your body and you should be working with your body not against it. The trick is to learn the difference between good and bad carbohydrates.
There are two types of carbohydrates, simple and complex. Simple carbohydrates are nothing more than sugar and should be avoided. Simple carbohydrates like white bread, white pasta etc are digested quickly and cause Complex carbohydrates, like brown rice and oatmeal on the other hand release energy much more slowly and should make up a big portion of your daily diet. Because complex carbohydrates release energy more slowly, they don’t cause the blood sugar spikes that simple carbohydrates do.
Drink more water
Water is great for your body and you should aim to stay hydrated at all times. Water will improve the quality of your skin, keep your metabolism in check and stop you from feeling lethargic.
Don’t overdo it
One of the things that you have to always be careful of is pushing your body past its ability to recover from the stress of exercise. Never train with weights more than three times a week because you put your body at risk of overtraining. You can combine weight training and cardio on separate days so for instance go running three days a week and weight training three days a week. Always listen to your body and if you feel exhausted you might well need some more rest.
Perform cardio in the morning
The best time to perform your cardiovascular exercise is in the morning when you are most likely to burn fat. Performing cardio in the morning will get it out of the way and set you up in a great mood for the day ahead.
Avoid stupid diets
Any diet which asks you to deprive your body of essential nutrients is asking for trouble and will only cause you to gain back more weight than when you started. There are no miracle diets. The con with most diets is that they involve severely limiting your calories or cutting out vital foods from your diet and this is almost always a warning sign that you should stay away. While starving yourself works in the short term you cannot keep cutting calories because your metabolism will eventually just grind to a halt, you will destroy your body, feel terrible and eventually you will end up gaining more weight than you had before the diet. The more you starve your body, the more aggressively it holds onto its fat stores for survival. You cannot beat your body at its own game so don’t waste time trying. Miracle diets don’t exist and they never will.
The real key to losing weight is through regular exercise and a junk free diet with plenty of lean meat, vegetables and complex carbohydrates. Take one look at what stupid diets have done to Oprah Winfrey and you might think twice about the latest weight loss craze. Losing weight is pretty simple. You need to create a mild calorie deficit through exercise and proper nutrition. You should always expect to lose weight gradually and intelligently. Your body has a built in starvation mechanism which will cause you to gain fat more easily if you drastically cut your calories so be warned. Feed your body with healthy natural food, exercise regularly and you will be rewarded with a fantastic celebrity physique that you can be proud of.
